The department library is having 677 volumes of books and journals on plant science. Recently new books have been purchased considering the changes in the syllabus for the CBCS . There are several books on specialized subjects. The department is subscribing 16 journals which include Phyto-mophology, Current Science, etc., The Department has a plan to subscribe Annals of Botany, Plant Cell Reports, American Journal of Botany, etc.
